EXPERIENCE

Ayang J. Inyang litigates cases in the areas of civil rights violations, general tort liability, and contract disputes.

​

Mr. Inyang obtained dismissals in high exposure civil rights and in-custody death cases in favor of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department on summary judgment motions by his successful written and oral advocacy skills before the District Courts, Central District of California.

​

Mr. Inyang has considerable experience and expertise in the legal areas of the use of force, false arrest, and police misconduct matters. 

​

Mr. Inyang will provide litigation support in civil rights matters in all aspects of litigation and trial. Mr. Inyang handles matters from assignment through trial for the County of Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department. He has considerable trial experience as a second chair. 

​

While earning his J.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law, Mr. Inyang served as a judicial extern with the Los Angeles Superior Court, East Judicial District. Additionally, Mr. Inyang was the Alumni Chair for the Black Law Student Association, a mentor for the UCLA Law Fellows program, and a member of the student advisory committee for the Promise Institute for Human Rights.
